dip stick

Hi going to get a new dip stick cover today as my old one has split was just wondering if anyone could give a quick instruction on how to do the job. Just looks like iv gotta remove 2 bolds so i can slide the cover of its clip.?

I dont know what 'bolds' are but if you are referring to the upper dipstick tube (orange plastic) it just pushes on and locates into a bracket just below the inlet manifold, no bolts.

I think it is a standard design on all VAG cars. The parts are about £1 each from GSF. When fitting, but the plastic in boiling water for a few minutes to help soften it up a bit. Reduces the chance of it shattering as you try to put it on.

i couldn't get the stick to connect in the clip at the top any idea's ??
