A3 8L (2000) 1.8T Cruise Control RetroFit

Hi,

Ive been looking into getting this for some time, mainly because im just lazy

However, some people state I need the accellorator pedle to have a black box behind it, and some people state it doesnt matter and they can add cruise control regardless.

Could some people advise as too who is correct, as I dont want to pay people to come out to my home, just to find out its a wasted journey because they cant fit it.

I'm pretty sure AGU engines cant be done, as that's what I've got and wanted it Can't pretend to understand the technicalities of it....think it's something to do with if the car is drive by wire or not.

Also check if you have an 'EPC' light on the dash when you turn the ignition.

I'll probably be calling these guys in the next few weeks once mine is in my grubby little mitts!!
