Took the S3 for an mot this morning, Thankfully passed, The guy who did the mot had an Ibiza cupra 180bhp and he took the S3 out and thought it was a bit slow compared to his and said it may be either leaking boost or a Maf sensor gone! Now my question is do VAG charge you an hours labour to check it out and would i be better of getting them to check it when i get the cambelt done next week ! Is there any way of me checking if its leaking boost?

vag will "usually" charge you a diagnostic fee to scan the car - IMO you'd be better off either buying a vagcom cable (if you have a laptop) and scanning it yourself or seeing if a nearby forum member has vagcom and can scan it for you.

Not sure where your based but i'm in epsom (surrey) if thats any help and have vag.com?
