Removing and Spraying mirror covers??

Hi,

I want to have a go at spraying my mirror covers gloss black at the weekend, is this a good idea to try myself?

Want to carry on the whole black theme you see! How do you remove the buggers off?: I tried the other day and they're a pig to get off is there a knack to it?

Any tips on spraying them? Never done this sorta thing before?

Just prize the glass out carefully and there should be 3 small screws inside the casings then just maneuver it over the frame.
Just be carefully when you removing the glass as it has the heating connections on it.

^^^ spot on, i know this as ive just removed mine today to have them painted in satin silver like the new rs4 has.
