Here's how i spent most of my Saturday!

CIMG0004_800x600%5D.JPG

Method:
Rinse down with pressure washer
Wash with Meguiars Gold Shampoo
Apply AutoGlym clean wheels to the wheels and scrub
Rinse down
Clay the whole car with Meguairs clay and detailing spray
Rinse down again!
Remove all water with Meguairs water magnet
Apply AutoGlym super resin polish on a MF pad
Buff off with a MF cloth
Apply AutoGlym fast glass on all the glass with a MF pad
Buff glass with MF cloth
Go over the whole car with a Meguairs super soft towel
Apply Meguairs tyre shine with a 2" paint brush

Any tips on my method and suggested products would be good, just do it in a logical order and products are just what ive tried and tested myself.

Heres the pics anyway!

Cheers mate!
Stupid image resizer messed up some pics!

Cheers fellas

Just used the autosol metal polish on the mirrors, didnt come up too bad but not as good as i was expecting!

dont want to drive it now incase it gets dirty!!!

Yeah i still dont like the wheels but i cant afford to change them at the moment!

I like the yellow brakes, makes a difference to the usual red you see on everything and i think it suits the blue really well.

Thanks for all the comments!

Very nice Ash !

Can't beat a bit of Autoglym mixed with Meguairs for a nice finish.

Im looking forward to the better weather coming in the next few months so I can give mine a good going over !

I think your yellow brakes look wicked mate!!! really suit the blue.

Lovely car looking really clean!

Very nice mate!

I always have an argument with myself about whether to do the polish first or the glass... If you polish first you run the risk of a bit of glass cleaner somehow getting on the polish finish and smearing/patching it, but if you do the glass first you run the risk of getting polish dust on it!

Interesting to read you favour Fast Glass too - I used to use it all the time but I've not for a while now as I found it could sometimes leave a streaky-finish which was annoying at night with oncoming headlights. Not all the time though, so I guess it's more to do with the method than the material...

Nice work though! ...You can come and clean my car now! :lmfao:

Regards,

Rob.

Excellent, good job! I also was trying this weekend my car.

The yellow brakes, are very well with the blue car.
