Head Rest

Hi guys wondering if someone could help me out, i pulled my headrest up and it came all the way out of the seat, and now it wont go back in
it goes in about 3 inches in stop as if theres something in the way? could anyone help me out?

Squeeze the 'retaining clip/button/thing' together and all should be good with a bit of force.
