question about interior lighting

i need to know if this is normal.

on my a3, when i try off the ignition, the window switches stay illuminatedd until i close the door..is this normal?

also my headlight switch is illumintaed all the time until i turn it into one of the on positions, is this normal?

Not exactly sure what you mean, but the clock and the mileage are the only lights illuminated on mine both entering and leaving the car...I guess just live with until it!!!!

my mileage and clock on my cluster are either burnt out or busted.

but when im exiting the car with the ignition off and lights off my window switches still illuminate and teh hazard light, as well as this little light on the lower b pillar that is for the security system or something?

Yeah on mine thats right with the window switches, so if you turn off the ignition

then you can still control the windows for a short while or until the doors are opened
