    S3 seat problem

    Hi everyone,

I am new here, I have an S3 the motor for the tilt function seems to have packed up in the drivers seat. Does anyone know anywhere i could get one, or where i would be able to just get two second hand front seat Recaros for the S3.

I had a electrician take a look at the control panel for the seat, everything seems fine.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Ebay for full seats, but the motors are replaceable. Try the dealer!
Otherwise a scrappy may have some all road a6s and some s4s have the same seats in the audi range. Ford fit them in the focus st.
Failing all that, try recaro uk, they are up in Warwikshire somewhere, (honiton??) I am sure they can get you a new motor if not recommendd someone to repair it.
Did your guy bypas the swithc to see if it worked? It may just be the switch.

I've just had the switch replaced on the passenger seat. The price i paid seemed expensive to me but was told it was a pain to do and i ended up being over 200 (new switch and fitting/fixing) . My seat jammed forward as the switch jammed when it broke so that may have been an extra problem...I was worried that it might have been a motor but thankfully it was just the switch as i think motors are more expensive!!
