01413 Lateral Acceleration Sensor G200

It appears I have a fault with this, which is probably why my ESP isn't working

Anyway, how hard is this to replace on an '01 S3, and where can I find the spare part online, or will I need to go to a dealer.

its an easy swap, the hard part is finding where it is, plus im not sure if it will need recallibarating once done, do a search on the site for lateral and g200,

It is a DIY job - it is mounted underneath the steering column. You need to remove the lower dash surround on the drivers side and then you should see it on an L shaped bracked along with the other sensor (Longitudinal). Expect to scrape your knuckles to bits getting it off! It costs approx £90 and as far as I'm aware, is an stealer only part.

There is definitely a guide on here if you search - I followed it when I replaced mine earlier in the year.
