Just phoned Forge motorsport asking if their Golf FMIC would fit A3 ,they didn't think so and wouldn't be developing one for A3 because there is no market! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif.They only develop kits if they get lots of enquires. If any of you guys know of a FMICkit available then please post up or if you want one too bombard forge with enquires. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gifAndy

The only one that will work is the forge side mount.

APR do one for the golf4, and ABD do one for the Golf4... Stuart has the ABD FMIC on his A so we know for sure it fits.

Alternatively, if your car is DBW, get a inlet manifold from a S3/TT, and then get the FMIC from star performance (as ESS_THREE (Glen) Has). Just because nobody make one especially for the A3, doesnt mean it cant be done. Just improvise /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

One thing to consider tho when fitting a FMIC to a 1.8T that doesnt have a K04, is that lag will inevitably be increased due to the considerably longer intake tract.
