Howdo all

Went shopping last night and in the car park drove over a little island thing made up of a curb and a hole sort of got stranded on it for a minute and drove off it.

Now whenever i put my foot down and let off the throttle i can hear a "flapping" sound. Only happens when i let off... any ideas? its obviously due to banging something.

No loss of power or anything

Ripped plastic engine undertray? Loose exhaust/cat heat sheild?

Have a crawl under the car, you'll probably see whatever it is.

Engine tray mate. if its still there !!
Had a brand new one fitted yesterday morning and by the evening time it had been ripped off as i reversed out of my driveway. Got caught on the gate stump in the ground

Yeah probably that stupid plastic undertray, just rip it off

Those undertrays cost a fortune for what they are though...it will probably be on ebay by now...

Mine hasn't got one - I presume it was ripped off. It has the front bits - I presume it comes in about 3 different parts

Dont see how it can be the plastic tray that flaps ONLY when i take my foot OFF the throttle?? hmmmmm

was thinking exhaust was blowing due to a crack or something
