Guys,

I wanted to thank everyone for all posts on this forum over the last few years. I know I haven't posted must but I can say this forum has been an absolute must for information, help and advise reagrding the S3.

After 4 years of owning my beloved S3, its gone to a new home. I must say I am truly gutted to see the car drive away tonight ( , my new toy is even better and something special.

I have replaced that S3 with Silver Grey CSL, I am a lucky boy.

Cheers
Rich

Excellent replacement with the CSL, saw one out on the track with huge front brakes and slick tyres, rather fast going round corners! :racer:

My intentions were to keep the S3 for the wife but its far to impractical with the baby, so the S3 had to go ( . Replaced that with the CSL for me and a 325i M-Sport for the wife.

The CSL is an absolute beast, a totally different car to drive. The power delivery and the noise is something else. I mamanged to find an 05 plate with only 10k on the clock.

Here is a couple of pics with both cars.

Would you mind explaining this? I currently have a S3 which I was planning on becoming my wife-to-be's kiddy chariot when I can hopefully move on to an A4/S4/RS4 Avant :D

I have heard some members say that 3dr cars are better as the doors are bigger for loading in and out of the car.

Cheers,

ICE

To S3Steve, lets just say add at least £17k to a brand new S3.

To vanilla_ice, the S3 is an absolute pain in the ar*e to get the childs baby seat in and out. We stuck it out for 4 months to see how things progressed. I would have kept the S3 but my wife uses the car more than me and she was finding it really difficult. She didn't want the S3 to go at all but its far too impractical. The way I look at this I get a new rare toy to have fun with, bring on 2 trips to the ring next year with the boys.

I cannot fit our recaro baby seat into the back of the S3, the seat does not go forward enough to get it into the back! You can do it by putting the pass seat full forward and reclining the drivers seat full back, then puttin the seat in between them, but its a pain in the ***! Also, you wont fit any baby buggy in the pathetic boot!!
Been out once in the s3 with the wife and sprog and wife went in the back, kiddie seat in the front!!

4 doors for kiddie seat any day!

I had a travel system which was great, base in the back of S3, and the pushchair fitted perfectly in the boot with the way it folded, access for the little'un wasn't too bad, but can be back destroying... think my other half preferred the Passat Estate in the end, she's use to driving the brage now. :)
