does your dv make this noise?

put a bailey dv and an neu speed induction kit on and when the revs get to 1.5k-3k i hear alot of sucking kind of the noise you get from the dv when you change gear. the noise can be constant when held between these rev's, is this just the turbo spinning up and it's sounding louder because of what i have put on? or do you think that i might have an air leak?
it's a 1998 a3 1.8t,

i have a similar setup although i have a pipercross panel filter instead,the bailey dvs are very good,there is a slight whooshing noise when accelerating
