Hello All.

More nonsense from me and my S3. I noticed I have a ugly bit on thel ower part of my plastic steering cowel where the plastic coating appears to have come off and is black underneath it(size of a ten pence and it annoys me). Its the cover that sits under the ignition section and fits around the steering wheel height adjuster on the underside. Anyone know how I remove this part?

I suppose I really want to know if it can be done with a couple of screws and a £20 bit from audi or do I need to remove half the dashboard?

Cheers

Brian

From memory its something like this.

Disconnect battery (for 30min prior)
Remove airbag via to screw behind the steering wheel.
Remove steering wheel via large centre nut.
Remove steering adjuster. Two more screws
Then lower cowling via 4 screws and a bolt.

think I'll just live with it then.....thought it might be a 5 minute job.
