New Oils

Going to get the Haldex dif oil changed and reading around people recommend the gearbox and dif oil aswell.

My question is, how much of each oil will I need and what type do I need.

Also do opieoils sell all the oils I will need?

haldex oil and filter from audi - around £20 all in

opie oils will recommend Silkolene SYN5 GL4/5 oil, around £7 a litre, you will need 5 or 6 to do gearbox and diff. you can use the same oil for both as it's a GL4/5 oil

for the haldex get it from vw/audi as it comes in a tube ( like silicon does) just the right amount in the tube.

never done the gearbox but might do soon.

Any other oils worth changing?

How much oil does the engine need as I may aswell get the mechanic to do it whilst hes doing the haldex (Im lazy)

Also someone said there is the haldex and then the rear dif?

did the engine oil on mine the other day found 4.5 lts to be the perfect ammount and halfords had mobil 1 5lts on special for £36 so still got a little left for top ups.

No 4.5lts is the perfect ammount. sits just shy of the top level on the dipstick.
