how do i reset service indicator

Guys,

i recently just boought my A3 from a garage and they did an oil service even tho it wasnt even due yet therefore without the indicator light.

Now the indicator light is showing which makes me think they didnt know how to reset the service light at all.

Is there a way of doing this without the Vag machine thingy majiggy
