i've done it to mine and it is worth it, it'll cost you a fiver for the isopropanol from maplins or a new maf is in the region of £60 from a dealers IIRC.

Def worth it, i did it with electrical cleaner and it did make a huge diffrence

Its only worth it if it aint nacked.I have cleaned a few and never noticed a thing.

I never noticed a thing either + i clean my inlet manifold / throttle body. No difference at all. I booked my car in with Jabba yesterday & i mentioned it wasnt idling to well (only +/- 200-300 rpm) they asked if i recaliberated it ? i assumed the car did this by itself cause i disconnected the battery also.
