Guys, i wanna lower my A3 1.8t, probably looking to lower it around 50mm on 18s. Has anyone done this before? is it too much? would it rub with a full car etc.

And why would i need to change the shocks if they are still fine, i want to keep the ride as smooth as possible thats why i dont really want to change the shocks.

anyone got pics of theirs on 18s with a 50mm drop?
Does it cause future problems to the car and shall i just still to 35mm on 18s

To keep it smooth as possible then it's pobabley best to change the shocks to a match set especially when lowering 50mm. If you just change the springs it'll put too much pressure on the standard shock and you'll end up with a very bouncey ride and after not long your shocks will probabley give up on you. We do loads of kits that offer this lowering without giving a harsh ride. Just give us a shout if you want anymore info.

Excellent feedback, i would most probably go for the Weitec Shocks and spring kit then if thats the case, thereare really good reviews about them especially for the money.

Do you think 50mm is too much on 18" wheels?
