Rubbish...

I thought i was lucky so far. Not a spot of rust on the car so far. Not bad for 6 yrs old....


untill i started to adjust the door and found this... (its under the door lock which i removed to adjust the door position.)

Worth a check if your like me and a bit anal about rust.....

good work, but if people do decide to look under here, make sure you mark up the door lock, otherwise they'll be hundreds of 'how do i align my door' posts.....

Which is why I'm leaving mine until I actually see rust!

the problem is that even if you do find rust, Audi might not do anything about it, as YOU'VE taken it off, and they can be funny about that....

the thing is there isnt much rust and a bit of 'krust' and some paint should do the trick, who cares if the paint job is rubbish, you cant see it.

by the time you can see it a good 3-4cm of door will have rusted away.

I agree, stick some wax over it (waxoyl) and do it all back up, that wont be an issue for 20-30 years!!
