two stage gas boot lifters....?

Hello,

I've read that the fact that the boot doesnt open fully when I open the boot on my facelift S3 is infact by design. I think its sh*te and the boot should open fully as it's a pain. Does anyone know of some struts I could replace mine with that actually open the boot? my girlfriend has a mk4 golf I be those would be ok?

mk4 or maybe leon struts may fit. I agree its a pain .........in the forehead usually!!

why not replace them with pre-facelift struts?
