Towing with S3

i have a MTM big turbo conversion 2002 S3 on H&R Coilovers and H&R adjustable anti roll bars.its on 18" wheels. Its VST's old car from here. i want to tow a mk2 golf track car with it but i want to see if many hav towed a car with anything with similar spec and how it was????

Also i want to get a detachable tow bar that is fully invisable and no cutting required. Any ideas on this and part numbers etc.

i have a brian james braked trailer and the golf is about 900kgs.

Audi say that tow bars should NOT be fitted to the S3. There just isn't any strength in the chassis/metalwork rear of the diff/suspension pick ups.

You 'could' perhaps get away with fitting one for VERY LIGHT useage, E.g a Bike rack or very very small trailer.

Anything bigger/heavier and you're just asking to twist something.

Hidden/removable tow bar was a factory option. I've got one on mine plus they're featured in the S3 manual.

However I've not got the actual towing mount itself, which puts it into the inflatable travel dart board category for now.
