Wing Mirror Glass for 8L

Hi, does anyone know will the Golf IV mirror glass fit the 8L A3/S3? I have searched on ebay and some of the auction says they are the same but on vagcat.com it shows different part number (A3/S3 starts with 8D0 yet the Golf starts with 1J1). I am just wondering are they the same thing... anyone?

Not sure but mirror glass shouldn't cost much money anyway, just get it out of GSF and save the hassle?

plus there's a guy on ebay selling lots of wing mirrow glass, all 2nd hand......wouldn't be surprised if they are all stolen....
