I believe the subframes are different on the MK5. Mk4 definitely DO fit though.

i don't think so because they are from a mkV golf and the floorplan is different from the MKIV / A3 8L chassis

1760 is the width on a mk5 golf and yours is 1765 but depends on the seat frames as well
