Had a look in the FAQ and no joy

There is a mention about engine oil for S3 but not A3.

Ive got A3 1.8T Sport and im not sure what oil is the best to use, had these suggested but by non audi drivers so wanted peoples opinion off here. Apologies for the lame questions but I cant find my manual and Im not the most technically minded person when it comes to motors as you can guess.

The suggestions I have are - Magnatec 10w-40
Castrol Formula SLX 0w-30
Synta 10w-40 semi synthetic

If it's a 1.8T, oil spec would be the same as S3, same engine really....

Depends if you are on AVS or fixed. If AVS you have to stick with the 503.01 or 504.00 or 507.00 check out WAK-TT guide for the full list. If fixed your world is your oyster check out this thread for choosing and for opieoils.co.uk where you can buy it from
