Here is the view of the front door panels. Removal is very easy. 2 visible screws at either end, one screw behind the grab handle, remove the plastic cuff, and remove the 2 main scres behind it. Lift the whole panel vertically and out. Unclip the various connectors and release the locking cable.
I've used of the shelf adapters which, unlike the rear ones, are actually very good, but you can make your own, and Pioneer TS-H1341 2 way components, see below.
