Recently had a golf tdi 130bhp hire car. Very impressed with the torque and still delivered well over 40mpg. Led me to think why dont audi put the 2.5tdi engine in the A3 mated to a quattro 4wd system? That would be an awesome combination.

What about the new 3.0 common rail diesel that is available in the new A6. Now that would give the S3 boys something to worry about.
cos then us 3.2 v6 boys with chuck a turbo on the lump some how and kick your asses all over town! lol
And while you are busy filling up with petrol every 200 miles the diesel boys will be driving by and laughing.
