can't open my door!

the passenger door will not open from the inside every time,
the door pin pops up but it wont open.
any ideas?

What's wrong with climbing out of the driver's side? Or getting out Dukes of Hazzard stylee...

On a more constructive note, does the door open from the outside? If so, may be worth checking if the cable has become disconnected from the interior handle somehow?

it will open from the outside evry time but not every time from the inside, the door pin pops up and down on the lock unlock button.
the conecting rod cant of come off as it would not work at all then.
im going to have to get the door card off and have a look i think.

I had exact same problem on my A3, I took the door panel off and an re- hooked the outer cable. Will take 5 mins

the hook can get trapped going up and down unless it is put in properly, whip off your door casing and just check it's ok. this should sort it, as i had a similar problem.....
