Outside Temp Gauge

Not very important i know but... does anyones outside temp gauge readings seem completely un-accurate? lol

My car seems to be very optermistic...always 4-5 degrees over temp?

Apart from first thing this morning read 4 degrees; suppose its just down to engine temp etc...

Sorry to bore you guys with such a useless post

Umm.. Maybe its where its placed..

Ill check mine tomorrow against my works van 06 caddy, and see what the temps say...

yeah mine does the same,thus morning it read 4 degrees,when actually the temp was 7.and in the warm its usually 4 degrees over.
