Hi guys,

the time has come to get rid of the nasty looking cassette HU in the Audi. I think I've got a replacement Alpine unit on the way, now i'm just wondering what would be needed to aid this replacement?

I'm thinking..

Audi facia adaptor

&

Audi wiring adaptor (speaker input)

Would one be correct? Anything else?

If I wanted to upgrade the standard sub to the BOSE (2x speakers..) sub in the rear, would this be possible without too much hassle?

Many thanks!!! :)

The fascia plate I had to get for mine was out of a Seat Toledo. I changed mine back to OEM because of the buzzing - really got on my tits!

How do you get the original out? Special tool?

I'm yet to find out! hopefully if I can get my bits together, I'll have a go at tackeling it at the weekend. (icking my RS6 reps up too, WOO!)

:)

I used a spark plug measurer - but these are the official tool
