Was this an optional extra on the s3? does anybody have it on theirs?
What are your opinions on it really, is it worth having or not?

I seem to think it was standard on the later cars...and not available on the early cars.

Is it a good thing...probably.
Does it cut in too early? Yes...spoiling the fun.

You'll find yourself turning it off to be a hooligan...but I did tend to leave it on in all other circumstances as some form of additional 'safety net' is better than none, in my book.

Ive got it in my S3 and Ive found it kicking in when Im trying to power out of roundabouts quickly, kinda undermines your driving efforts a little

However, in really crappy grip conditions Ive found that its been usefull for not throwing me into ditches. Its like ABS and all that, its usefull at times and clever but it can hamper you and you can also outsmart it anyway

Nice to have it there tho if you want it, and you can always turn it off

Its a pain RIGHT up to the point when you LOSE control! then its a god send...
