White needles

Looked around the forum and found no 'real' conclusion to this question.

Can an A3 (prefelift, with its white background and red needles), be adjusted to look like this...? I believe some S3's have them...

I'd imagine you can replace the colour bulbs behind the dash, may be a fiddly and time consuming job but it's got to be possible as they must be able to replace them if they fail

Apologies on the link..but I think most folk get the idea...

Guess I will have to wait until the bulbs fail, and give it a whirl!!!

Just though someone might have tried...
