Vandalism or wear & tear? My Side indicator...

After getting home from work today I noticed that my passenger-side indicator (the one just in front of the door) had come away from the panel and was just dangling from the wire that powers it. Instantly thinking 'f**king vandals' I went to have a closer look at it. I can't see any scratches or any sign that it's been prised away from the body of the car so perhaps it's just wear and tear. Has anyone had this happen to them? I tried to fit it back in but I can't see how it clips back into place.

the clips break easily, so it's probably wear and tear to be honest.

I pulled mine off to replace with crystal clear items, then found out the clips had snapped off already, and they we're stuck on with double sided pads! And to top it off, the crystal ones don't ****** fit, so trust no one at those GTI International stands!

the clips are plastic but the replacements are metal, think they are only £5 from the dealers. .

you haved to buy the whole unit im afraid but still only 5 quid ish
