Will these wheels fit an S3

Hi guys, I wanted to know if the wheel spec below will fit an S3?

225/40 x 18
PCD: 5x100mm
offset: 38mm

aaaand would a Standard 17" Avus S3 wheels fit a 2002 VW 4motion? Any help would be great

they should fit but you may need spacers because of the high offset

You wont need spacers with standard brakes.

I have a set of 44mm offset wheels and they fit just fine.

Yea 38 is the right offset. And assuming its a golf 4 motion they will fit fine.

make sure the centre bore diamater is the right size too, think it's 57.1mm, but most aftermarket alloy wheels you can change these

If the wheels have come off a Golf V6 4Motion, they will bolt straight on with no mods what so ever... Same suspension and hub setup between S3 and Golf IIRC

lol no why? Cause I asked about the spacers? only reason I ask is cause someone said I'd need them. Thanks for the helpful info guys, might have some new wheels next week
