brake noise

my mate has just fitted some grooved torax(spelling?) and some ceramic pads. he has only done a few miles with them but is worried by the noise they make. will,this noise die back once there bedded in? the noise is hard to discribe its not a squeek its like a rubbing type..

Isn't it the pads when they are cold?

they seem the same hot or cold!!

its the grooves going over the pad surface its normal to hear some noise mostly when applying the brakes. My old EBC's grooved disc's were the same
