Whats the deal with aero wipers ?

I keep seeing people buying them and there is a huge thread about them in here.

Why are they so good, do they work any better ?

I bought some and they are good, but I won't say they are really really great! However I fear that it might be because I still have the original wind screen in place and it is heavy pitted. Maybe with a new windscreen it may improve their performance. They can be abit noisy too in light rain, but seem to perform well in heavy rain.

they also work better at faster speeds than the normal wipers do

just in cast you happen to fracture the occasional speed limit

They don't lift off the screen at 70mph like the standard ones do and look better, but please do not RainX the front windscreen with aero wipers, you get mega jugger!
