Upgrading Headlights w/o ordering new plugs

is it possible to just cut down the wings and loom up the current prefacelift wires into facelift lights.

i would be easier getting the new loom and plugs than doing it...will take about 1/2hr for a proper job and so easier when putting the lights on the car..

I'd say so, also means if you mess it up the original lights can just go straight back in
