new to the audi world need some help plz

hi i just got my self a 2000 reg audi s3 in yellow but i am unsure if it is the 210bhp or the 225bhp model can any1 tell me what the diffrences are excpet the power???

this will be the 210bhp.they only started the 225bhp in 2002 models i believe.but if you get it mapped the 225 and the 210 will map to the same bhp and its definatly worth getting it done.you saved yourself a bit of money really getting a 210bhp

The visual facelift models started to appear in late 2000, depending on when you car was produced it may be the later facelift style, one easy way to tell will be if it has one piece headlights (like the ones in my avatar) it's a facelift model.

As for the power output, I'm not 100% sure when they introduced the 225 engine, I think it was mid 2001 but I do know that any BAM engine code will be 225 and the AMK engine code that was used before it was 210.

the inside of your manual should have a printed out paper stuck there...if it says
154kw= 210bhp
165kw= 225bhp

the sticker should also be in the boot under the carpet rhs i think
