CAN-BUS on S3?

Does anyone know if the S3 has this? - I'm looking to get a vag.com lead shortly but there seem to be 2 types available.

My spec is as follows: - October/2000, x reg, facelift, 210bhp, AMK Engine Code

As far as I'm aware, all of the 8L facelift A3's/S3's are what's best described as 'semi can-bus'!

That means all the audio/nav stuff is can bus, as well as some other bits and pieces, but not all of it.

I've got a standard ebay cable working with my registered copy of VAG-COM with the 409 software, and it's fine and reads everything on my car, a 2002 TDI quattro.
