Rear brake pad change...

Hi everyone,

Yesterday morning I decided to change my rear brake pads on my S3...

Boy, was I in for a rude awakening...
Rear cliper removal is easy, tricky part comes in when you want to push the piston back... it wont... you need to turn it clockwise. This prosedure took me a better part for 3 and half hours to figure out... its best to do this using someone to hold the cliper while you use a longnose pliers to turn and push...

I was alone and did the 2nd wheel in 20mins

Hope this helps anyone that need to do theirs anytime.

Laser tools make one.

it's a iniversal calliper tool
about 25quid.

This is a cheaper purchase, but you need to push in as you turn to drive the piston back.
The windback tool is good though.
