What size wheels??

Hi guys,
I'm hopefully buying an S3 this week!! What size wheels fits and handles the best?? Will i need to lower the car or mod the arches to get them on without rubbing!!

Well good luck, when you picking it up?

The S3 comes on 17inch wheels as standard, they say 18 is good with out screwing up the handling! If your not worried, I believe alot of people have fitted 19's with out modding the arches.

18's work best, but don't go daft on the width. 8.5" wide is about the limit without modding the arches or destroying the handling.

19's ride ok on smooth surfaces but they give a choppy ride on typical UK roads. More show than go.
