off to pick up another A3 turbo now, what oil?

off to pick up another A3 1.8turbo, its low on oil so need to take some with me, what oil do i need?

i have some 10/40 and 0/40 at home either of them any good?

I think it also depends whether it is a long life service or not. (not sure)

I bought some 5W 30 from the dealer to top up (they advised this) due to my car having a long life service done last time...

Either will do TBH.

Take whichever is fully synth, is neither or both are fully synth, take the 0/40.

Although where did you get 0/40, thats a bit specialist as far as oil goes, as in you normally dont find it in Halfords.

so 0/40 would be the better option over the 10/40 if but full synthetic?
