Help - Stereo switching itself off and then on straight away, every 32 seconds!

Hi

This morning on my drive in to work my stereo (Radio & CD) kept switching itself off and then on straight away, every 32 seconds! Volume would go down to it's original safe level when turning itself back on.

It's a standard Audi 6 CD, dash loading player.

Anyone come across this issue before? Is it overheating or is there a setting I have changed unknowingly?

not heard of this before
but i would check all connections are tight and none of cables are cut/jammed etc.
you will need the removal keys which can be purchased of ebay pretty cheap

you could also reset by unplugging it but you also loose your settings and may need to re input the security code

On my drive home from work that day it didn't do it again, and hasn't happened since! So I'm putting it down to gremlins!

The headunit screen on my standard Bose setup hung the other day, none of the buttons worked, no text came up, didnt make a difference if the key was out, car locked anything. Disconnected the battery for a few seconds an all was fine again.

For a while I thought there was a big bill coming my way
