VAG-com license

Hi all i have just bought a dodgy cable and software on ebay but ntaurally its got limited abillity, and through looking through some links form here i have found that Ross- Tech sell a licence for $99

Has anyone gone this way round ? It seem's like you can buy the license to fully activate the software .

Ive done mine this way. For the sake of $99 I thinks its a bargain.

Up to now they nothing I've wanted to do that 409 cant achieve.

I beleive if you later want to upgrade to the genuine cable and software that the £99 that you paid is knocked off the final bill

I went for it after all, seemed a bargain for less than £50

I've had that set up (dodgy cable from ebay and a proper liscence) for about a year and it works perfect.

Just something i've noticed with mine, it wont scan for radio errors and something else (can't remember what) unless you turn the radio on
