bye bye audi

bought myself a new car a few weeks ago, originally planned to keep both but after only a few weeks i decided the audi wasn't getting used and that it would be better to sell it

definately still planning to get an s3 at some point in the new few years but just getting this out my system, my god its fun!

Oh Cool, I wanted a Celica GT4 for ages. Whats it like? How do you find the 4WD system in comparison to the Haldex system in the Quattro?

aye its awesome, loving it! big step up from the a3, power and handling, it sticks to the road like glue due to the tien suspension

i always thought the 4wd in the audi was great from a standing start, and this one is just as good, but i wouldn't go saying its much better, audi seem to have got it right

interesting, the GT4 has permanent 50/50 4wd doesnt it>? id have thought they would be quite different. the S3 i drove just felt like a FWD until REALLY pushed

Looks nice my friends friend has one and they are devastating... I think the list time 0 - 60 is something like 5.5 and this one was heavily modified, trying to keep up with him was a nightmare when I was supposed to be following him to the pub. Just be careful with that speed mate! :icon_thumright:

yeh its quick, this one isn't quite that speed, it is actually putting out about 270 not 255 due to a few choice modifcations done by the guy in japan, running around 5.7 or 5.8 at the moment supposedly but manifold and decat fitted next week are taking it to over 300bhp so that should bring it down

all unnecessary really, im not too interested in 0-60's or bhp figures, i just enjoy driving the thing

timing belt, tensioners, ht leads and sparkies were done yesterday
new seats are being put in as we speak
respray back to perfect is next monday
eagle f1's monday
double din dvd system is sitting in my room waiting to go in

ill post up some pics when its in better nick and finished

and is that a cupra front bumper chin??

cupra front splitter for eleven quid from any seat dealership

lights were ebay specials, the gyu has now stopped selling them though
