Noisy brakes - scrape noises.

Hi, does any1 else find that after leaving the s3 for a few hours, then taking it out for a spin, the brakes scrape for about 1 mile (when applying them) and dont seem to pull up as sharply?

Is this normal, having had the car for a few months, it only seems to have been doing it recently. Maybe the salty roads and wet conditions?

I think, given the wet conditions this time of year. A light coating of rust is kind of normal, and this grinding noise is most probably just the pads wearing the rust off /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Try taking a peek at the discs before starting out, if anything seems amiss, then by all means, have them checked out. Otherwise, I think you'll be OK /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
