Hi there just a quick question what advantages would i get from fitting a dump valve to my s3 and where can i find a recirculating one that isnt a blow off valve,,,,the ones that sound like a pigeon on steriods, lol,,cheers

Fitting an aftermarket dump valve will not get you extra horsepower by itself, much like an intercooler. It helps you get the most power out of the turbo by holding boost longer than the original one.

If your car is remapped then I would recommend you get one as the OEM DV is prone to splitting under increased pressure. If your DV is going you will hear a distinctive honking noise when you lift off the throttle.

I've got a Forge 007 DV and it is near silent, I don't want to advertise to the world that I have a turbo (even if it is the crappy KO3) unlike the garish Jap cars I see around these parts.

Dave, I usually call it a diverter valve but most people do not know what it is, so to be safe I call it a dump valve.
