A3 2001-3 diesel or petrol?

Just starting to think about to change my Golf....what is your experience with A3 year 2001-2003?

I have the Audi 1.8T Quattro 2001 model and i think its great, although they do drink the juice, so id say if you were a bit more sensible than me, go for the TDI version, whack a remap on it and away you go

yeah i got the 1.9TDI quattro and its great, i get the performance and 40MPG!!! best of both worlds i reckon...think its lower insurance group as well.

Yeah the options are endless, suppose it depends what you want - personally id have a 130tdi non quattro, they're quite a bit less expensive to insure, drink a bit less and are rapid once on the move.

the 1.8's are nice cars too tho, i suppose it just depends on what you prefer, get yourself out and drive a few.

Would be the diesel every time fo rme tho.

Yeah, if only because the golfs are nearly as expensive as the a3 which has a slightly better interior
