Is it usual for the Audi S3's to rev high for a few minutes then settle on start up, regardless of weather ? (only had the car a few months so its not been that cold) the car also has a revo remap on it if that makes any difference.........

Any help on this most appreciative :icon_thumright:

if its about 1,200 rpm then settles back to about 900 rpm it'll be the choke

how high is "rev high"?

sorry fella i asked the question and then the network goes down at work so couldnt reply.... typical :keule:

yep as s3ollie said the revs start off at about 1200 rpm and then settle at just over 900 rpm.... why does it need so much choke ? i take it this the norm for these cars then or is it because its been re mapped ?

er... isn't this just how cars work?
Now we don't have manual chokes anymore??
