Ahh white deposits on dipstick

Just found some white deposits on my dipstick. Its a 98 A3 had it 2 weeks, does this mean I've been sold a duff?

it could be nothing your best best is to drain the engine oil and check the colour of oil,if its white and milky like,it could be an oil cooler gone,this usually water in the engine oil,or if worst comes to worst could be a head gasket.so check the colour of the oil before you panic

water has been def mixing with your oil in the engine....generally not a good sign at all.

Gets worse, engine coolant is low (probably leaking) and found loads of deposits in the oil filler cap.

Going back to the garage on Monday morning, fearing the worst but hope that my warrenty covers it. Also noticed a creaking sound from the front of the car when I set off. Any ideas?
