Hello everyone,
I'm new here, had my S3 for a couple of weeks now and thought I would join the forum as any answer I looked for online, I ended up back here!
Got the car booked in with Audi to do the roof (standard 70/30% agreement....although I do have to pay for a service first?!) but other than that it is in really good shape.
There are a few bits I want to put right and or change but I am really pleased with it.
Anyway, 2001 Ming Blue S3 remapped AMK.
Pictures from the advert as I've not taken any myself yet....need to wash it first!

I fear this colour is going to be a pain to capture its true depth in normal pictures. But even in overcast daylight the shine and colour is awesome being pearl. To think i wasnt sure on green before i bought it, now im slowly falling in love with it lol.

Goodwood is on facelifts and cactus was on pre fl. so I'm aware. Again the pics make it look dull and dark, it's so much better in person in daylight. You'll see soon enough ;)

From the pictures I can see it looks way darker than Goodwood green.

Looks awesome dude, nice car!

Being the previous owner of this car I can confirm that its deffinatly Cactus green and that Goodwood is darker.

When you see the 2 colours together its more obvious. Although there both pearl Goodwood is more matt if that make sense? Catcus has a brighter look/more shine to it when its in the sun.

So what car did you move to mate?

In the short to mid term a 52 plate 5 door 1.2 16v Renault Clio that my dads letting me borrow. The reason for selling the S3 was a combination of wanting a change and the cost of fuel vs MPG, use to cost £60 to fill up the audi when I got it 6 years ago now days its over £80 to brim it (I didnt have a mortgage to pay either back then). Considering buying a honda civic 2.2 ctdi ex, thought about 8p A3 tdi but you can get a lot more for your money with the honda, wont be until next year before I start looking, get christmas and my snowboarding holiday out the way first. The clio does have its plus points (not many) £50 to brim and 45mpg :)

Pack it in.

Firstly you no longer own an S3 and Secondly that pic is a photochop :moa:

haha eventually people will remember my car like that :)

Also its only the ride height thats chopped

If I had it still it might have looked like that...

Here's my efforts

Could have done with a bit lower offset on the rear huh? I'm on ET5 rear ET10 front now on 8.5". It's tighter than a scotsmans wallet. pretty sure you'd struggle to get a rizla in there. Looks nice though...

Yep 18x8.5 on 225 40 tyres, can't remember the offset but I think it was et35 with 15 mm spacers on the back and 10 on the front.

not the best piant job finish to the wheels though

Still looking very nice mate. Good choice of wheel, simple but effective.

I like alot
